I was dreaming of owning Cream Legbars years before I started my breeding flocks.  From the second I saw the beautiful, deep blue, almost turquoise egg shown in pictures around the web, I knew I needed to have some of these birds.  One of the best things with having your own chickens, is the ability to have some of the prettiest and tastiest eggs.

Cream Legbars have a quirky appearance.  The females have a tuft of feathers at the top of their head, and the roosters have floppy combs, with crests tucked behind.  They are friendly, great layers and wonderful free range foragers.

My breeding stock originated from Jill Rees in England.  Her birds are consistently winning top awards in major UK poultry shows, so these chicks could be considered show quality.

Cream Legbars are an autosexed bird, meaning you can tell at birth whether it is a male or female.  For you, that means all the love and attention to give to this little girl will not be wasted in a few months like other breeds, when you discover you have a rooster.  If you buy a female, you will get a female!

Cream Legbars are prolific layers of blue colored eggs.  They are sure to win over your heart from day one.
