Rouen Ducks -- Upcoming

Rouen ducks look similar to the common ducks we typically see in ponds and bodies of water.  They are considered a general purpose duck, and kept many times mainly for their meat, since they are not prolific egg layers. However, they do grow slower than the White Pekin.  

They don't like to fly very far, so they are great if you have body of water on your property and are looking for ducks that love to eat a lot of insects!  Calm and friendly, they are sometimes also kept as pets.
