White Plymouth Rock -- Upcoming Hatches

This is a variety of the extremely popular Barred Plymouth Rock.  These birds are as sweet as the Barred rocks, laying a lot of gorgeous brown eggs.  They also get to a good size and are considered dual purpose birds, good for eggs and meat.  They are soft, friendly birds who have a calm manner and are cold hardy.  They go about their business, laying eggs, talking social gossip with the other hens and scratching for bugs without causing much of a fuss.  They are also known to continue laying eggs in the winter, as long as they are comfortable.
