This bird has the word 'Queen' in it's title, so of course I had to check it out for my customers.  Turns out, this beautiful bird is easy to sex at hatch because the male and females are different colors.  Great if you are not allowed roosters in your area as it gives better sexing results.  That is pretty nice, but that is not the best part.  Cinnamon queens are a cross between a Rhode Island Red rooster and a Rhode Island White hen.  This means this gorgeous light brown bird lays a lot of eggs, similar to Rhode Islands.  They are also just as friendly, docile and what I call an overachiever bird...they start to lay younger than most other breeds.  All in all, you can see why they named this bird Cinnamon Queen.
