Partridge Penedesenca -- Available Now

I am always on the lookout for dark brown egg laying birds, and this one immediately caught my eye.  Originally from Spain, these birds lay a very dark brown egg.  Similar to the Marans from France.

If you are looking for a different breed to provide dark brown eggs, give the Partridge Penedesenca a try.  They do well in the heat and are very active birds...with gorgeous eggs!
